This policy covers the public website and the product posture described on the site. It does not expand your rights beyond any separately agreed commercial terms, but it explains the operating model clearly: the product is positioned as read-only, offline-first, and intentionally explicit about any optional cloud usage.

When you browse the website, standard technical information such as request metadata, browser behavior, and page views can be processed to serve the site and keep it available. Optional analytics are separate from essential site delivery and are only enabled after consent through the cookie banner.

SQL Performance Intelligence is presented as an offline-first Windows desktop application for read-only SQL diagnostics. In the default local path, analysis stays inside the customer environment. The product does not automatically apply schema or data changes to target SQL Server systems.

If a user enables cloud AI features, that action is user-controlled. The website and documentation describe send policy, redaction, and explicit operator choice as the boundary for any cloud-directed context. No cloud transfer should be assumed unless the user has chosen that mode and taken the related action.
